    Purchasing Manager

      Responsibilities and Duties:

      The purchasing manager (PM) is responsible for sourcing all material used in the plant and oversees processes outsourced in the router. The PM would oversee a team of buyers and clerks that would execute these tasks.

      • Establish purchase orders and LTAs with suppliers
      • Ensure that materials arrive on time to support the master production schedule
      • Implement strategies to reduce supplier lead times
      • Develop and execute strategies to reduce costs and stock outs
      • Manage supplier performance to delivery, quality, and cost metrics
      • Provide supplier feedback regarding non-conformances

        Qualifications:

    CNC Machinist

      Cascade Engineering Technologies is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist. Currently we are seeking applicants for all shifts on swing and 3-12 weekend shift.       Qualifications:

      • 3+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC Machines
      • Experience on 4 and 5 axis machine centers
      • Machining of Aerospace parts and materials preferred

      The CNC Programmer is responsible for the development of manufacturing processes. They are responsible for the development and validation of CNC programs. This requires interface with the Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.

       

      Responsibilities and Duties

      • Create machining methodology to meet configuration requirements including tooling and fixturing.
      • Create CNC programs using MasterCam and / or Catia software.
      • Verify CNC programs using Vericut and / or MasterCam backplot software.
      • Verify machining process (prove-out).
      • Provide input for creation of manufacturing plans.
      • Document setup and tools for creation of work instructions.
      • Aid in cost estimates for new product or projects
      • Perform other duties as assigned.

       

      Qualifications

      • BS in Engineering or equivalent work experience preferred.

      Qualifications

      • Experience in using hand tools including drill motors and reamers to exacting requirements is a must.
      • Ability to assemble Aerospace components. Including installation of nutplates, fasteners, aerospace seals, bearings and bushings.
      • Ability to apply aerospace sealants uniformly to mate surfaces of parts and seals.
      • Knowledge of and ability to comprehend Aerospace Engineering specifications.
      • Must be able to read and follow work instructions.
      • Ability to read and interpret blueprints a plus.
      • Perform inspection of precision parts using calipers and micrometers.
      • Ensure all parts paperwork and documentation is completed properly.
      • Enter all data and measurements on record sheets as required.
      • Inspect finished work to required specification.

      • Operation of a variety of CMM machines.
